5 Key Elements of an Effective Podcast Intro
Training from an award-winning broadcaster
In this video, I walk you through how to create an impactful intro that answers the question first and foremost on your listeners' minds. Within the first 60 seconds of your show, you MUST answer the question "What's in it for me?"
And, you must be willing to address it at the outset of every episode.
Using the "What's in it for me?" acronym (WIIFM) below, will help make the concepts memorable and easy to implement:
W - Worldview
I - Information
I - Influence
F - Foreshadowning
M - Motivation
Creating an intro that includes each of these elements will increase the likelihood your listeners not only stick around today, but come back again and again.
